It appears to me that when the hard questions come their way, the SPCA simply ignores them. Could it be because they have no good answers? On Monday, November 28, I heard on the Ocean radio station news report that, as of that date (Nov 28), any pit bulls born in Ontario would be scheduled for euthanasia. Any born BEFORE that date were fine. Therefore, why did the SPCA tell the press that these pups were scheduled for euthanasia? The propriety of the SPCA bringing these pups to BC from Ontario aside, shouldn't the public take issue with being mislead? If crucial facts provided by the SPCA to the press concerning this matter were incorrect, what other facts might be incorrect? Isn't it time the public demanded better from the SPCA? They are, after all, funded by our donated dollars.
