We agree with Mayor Corrigan

Mayor Derek Corrigan is quoted saying, "I don't intuitively think this tethering bylaw would be a detriment to dogs. I personally think it would be for the betterment of dogs."

Of course we agree, and we said so. But we warned that if some people can't tether a dog they will keep it in a cage or pen or in a garage.

Burnaby is going to get it's anti-tethering law, that is a sure thing: we have not and would not prevent that. We only want Burnaby to consider going farther and better.
