DANGEROUS DOGS BANNED IN SOME SWISS CANTONS

After an incident [about two months ago], where a 5 year old village child - on his way to school - was attacked and killed by several Pit Bulls, owned by a man on a visit to a friend living in the area, several cantons have taken immediate action and banned the following breeds. The owner of the dogs that killed the boy is still in custody. The Swiss legislator is expected to follow suit to make these bans nationwide.

Bull Terrier, Doberman, Tosa Inu, Rottweiler, Mastiff, Dogo Argentino, American Staffordshire Terrier, Staffordshire Bullterrier, Fila Brasileiro, Napolitan Mastiff, Presa Canario, Spanish Mastiff, Cane Corso.
