One of 24 horses in foster care at a farm will likely be killed today and more could face a similar fate. The SPCA moved in on a large rural acreage along the Trans-Canada Highway near Sicamous to seize the neglected animals. They found 21 horses and three ponies in various stages of distress due to lack of food, water and shelter.
