Lose the emotion over an animal

Lose the emotion over an animal

There is something called "the natural order." Certainly Luna's death is a sad event, but attaching emotions to Luna's choices is unhealthy.

Luna was a wild animal. To anthropomorphise her into a semi-human, or a "gold retriever" denies that she was really just a wild creature who should have been allowed to live in her natural habitat.

We may choose to romance the whale as art, giftware or a distant relative, but I believe it should just be respected as another life form which is admired, and allowed to live without our attaching emotion to it.

William Perry,

Victoria.
