Board at $20 a day all that was offered

Last week AAS was asked by a relative of a young woman who has to go into hospital if we can board two cats and a dog for her. We didn't have a foster home available and so we told her about the SPCA's compassionate board program and suggested that she phone the SPCA.

She emailed back to say, "I left a msg at Vancouver SPCA, then called head office. They don't know of any
compassionate care, they gave me the West Van office; they only offer boarding
at $20 a day."

SPCA considers running for-profit boarding
Logic is questioned
SPCA's Compassionate Board form
Board at $20 a day all that was offered
Where will they put these little money-makers?
The BC SPCA should be helping these animals before even considering For-Profit Boarding
The SPCA is telling us the they have lots of space to now house private boarders?
Women escaping violence were promised those spaces for their pets!
