Maybe one day we will look back at these times

How many times have those in rescue heard, please help me re-home/dump my pet because.... "I am moving", "I suddenly have to work longer hours", "the new baby is on its way", the baby is here", "I just don't have time any longer", "I want to travel" or ?? just fill in the blank.

Thousands upon thousands of dogs, cats and smaller companions end up homeless and thrown away because they are so easily disposed of.

And everyday more die and more are born to die and the cycle and excuses continue.

Maybe one day we will look back at these times and recognize that speaking out did make a difference for those who have yet to find themselves in need.
