Let's get on with eradicating domestic cats, if they are being infected by eating infected birds

I think that humans have an inherent right to be safe from H5N1. All domesticated birds in any given infected area have been eradicated (pretty safe word). Now this may seem to have been a proper procedure BUT it didn't go far enough. If domesticated birds can be infected by migratory wild birds, then all migratory wild birds should be eradicated as well. What's the use of eradicating only the infected? The infectors should be eradicated at the same time or what's the use?

Too bad for cats! Let's get on with eradicating domestic cats, if they are being infected by eating infected birds. And, if coyotes might eat infected cats, we better get rid of coyotes at the same time.

Humans have demonstrated that they deserve to be kept safe from H5N1. Over one hundred people on earth have now died from this dread disease. That's a large enough percentage of the 6 billion of us that live on earth to justify caution. If this horrendous disease threatens our existence, let's get rid of it once and for all, so that we can get on with destroying the rest of sentient life!!!

Oh, and by the way, if humans are now passing this thing from one to another.....well, the conclusion is obvious.

Risk of cats giving H5N1 to humans is small *LINK*
