This is a 21st century, tarted-up sideshow, not a refuge, and anyone who uses the same weasel words the zookeepers use helps to promote their P.R. Pounds that kill animals call themselves "shelters", a logical impossibility, but gullible animal-lovers by the millions repeat the P.R. word. Shame on them...shame on anyone who ever calls a place that kills the inhabitants a shelter or a place that imprisons wild creatures a refuge.
