We are in urgent need of a foster home for a male German Shepherd

We are in urgent need of a foster home for a male German Shepherd. Roughly 6 years old, neutered as of tomorrow, and up to date on shots.

We had a police assist to get him from the owner on Saturday and he has been at the Chilliwack pound until today when his holding period was up.
After a huge go 'round, the owner has finally signed him over to us and he was immediately taken to the vet for neuter.

He's a nice dog. Absolutely terrified at the moment. He is not good with the fast movements of children, joggers, bikes, etc. He needs a calm, stable environment.

We tested him today with other dogs and he was just so happy to be around them. He shied away from others that were not so "happy".

The previous owners said he is house trained, and he knows basic commands. This appears to be true.

Sorry I don't have any pictures yet, and won't really have the time to get them, as he is due out of the vet tomorrow night and it's urgent that we find a place for him to go.

He's sweet, and cuddly and gives lots of kisses.

Please cross post and help us to help this dog. He's been through enough and needs a safe place to land.

The vision must be followed by the venture. It is not enough to stare up the steps- we must step up the stairs.
