SPCA Still serving Meat at Fund- Raisers

Since the SPCA has now cancelled it's Prince Rupert crab boil, I thought I'd see if they make mention of food being served at their other, upcoming fund-raisers.
Many SPCA branches are having a Paws for a Cause Walkathon.
The ones I have listed here are all taking place on Sun. Sept. 10th.
I have only included in the list branches that make specific reference to wieners, hot dogs, burgers, or barbecues. These may, of course, be vegetarian items, but this was not mentioned on any of the sites, so my assumption is that the items are meat, and probably (though I'd love to be proved wrong) factory-farmed meat.

Kamloops
"A tasty barbecue."

Penticton
"Snack on burgers and hot dogs."

Vernon
"wonderful hot dogs"

Victoria
"BBQ"

Powell River
"Bobbing for Wieners"
Barbecue will be set up for lunch."

Surrey
"Bobbing for weenies"

Squamish
"barbecue"

Campbell River
"barbecue hot dogs"

Comox
"barbecue"

Kamloops
"barbecue"

Prince Rupert
"barbecue"

Grand Forks/Boundary
"barbecue"

100 Mile House
"Doggie Bobbin"

What did the SPCA learn from the cancellation of the Crab Boil in Prince Rupert?
It's not too late for them to change their menus to veggie burgers and veggie dogs, if they care about cruelty to animals.

Why couldn't they figure this out for themselves?
