Dear Animal Advocates,

I attended a community fair and fund raiser at the San Fransisco SPCA on September 10, 2001 - they called it a Wing Ding. It was a very large event occupying three closed off city blocks and the adjoining half dozen parking lots. There were thousands in attendence and most people brought their dogs! Of significance, all the concessions were of the vegetarian kind. I'm sure most in attendence were not vegetarians - the potato knish was terrible - a good time was had by all.
