It is with great excitement that Noah's Wish welcomes you to the 2007 training season and for the first time, we will be coming to Vancouver Island!
This years training will be marked with three action packed days of new information! During training you can look forward to participating in hands on activities, gaining practical knowledge of animals in shelter situations, watching fascinating video footage, learning about cats, wild fires, livestock, compassion fatigue, and much more!
The presenters
Noah’s wish has put together an amazing team of over 15 presenters to lead sessions during the 2007 training season. This highly skilled team has collectively responded to over 100 disasters, and is comprised of professionals with a wide background of knowledge - all of whom look forward to seeing you at training!
Options for returning volunteers
When you enroll, please remember to identify selective courses you are interested in attending. Animal handling, Search and rescue, and Volunteer information are all evening courses for which you have the opportunity to sign up for one.
Mitigation through education is an optional course and will take place at the end of training on Sunday from 1:00 to 2:00 pm.
Hands on animal training
Noah's Wish is making every effort possible to have livestock available at each location. If you or someone you know would be willing to bring livestock to the location during the day on Saturday, please let Noah's Wish know by sending an email to noahswishedu@hotmail.com.
Training sessions and schedule
All trainings will run from May 4-6 2007 at the Sannich Fair Grounds. Vancouver Island. Hours of attendance are: 10:00 am Friday, to 12:30 pm Sunday, and be comprised of fourteen sessions.
