Environment minister hasn't got animals on his mind

Re: Caribou would thrive if their habitat wasn't wiped out, Voice of the People, Oct. 27

In his letter regarding the possible cull of bears, cougars and wolves to help "protect" the mountain caribou, Gerry Rempel asks why this is an issue for the agriculture and lands minister, not the environment minister. Doesn't Rempel know the environment minister is occupied trying to get lodges built in our parks?
