Animal Advocates Watchdog

Fur Demo, Nov 19

Hi Activists,

Bunnies, foxes, and other fur-bearing animals need your help! Every year in Canada, 2 million animals are killed for their fur. Animals trapped in the wild are caught in cruel leg-hold traps, they often break teeth and bones trying to escape. Animals ranched for their fur spend their lives in crowded barren wire cages and are killed in horrendous ways like anal electrocution and strangulation. You can help!! Please join us in encouraging consumers to boycott fur and telling International retailer, Bebe, to stop selling it.

Date: Sunday, November 19
Time: Noon- 3:00pm
Place: Bebe, the corner of Burrard and Robson. Important: please meet Joanne Chang at noon outside Blenz (directly across from Bebe on the South-East corner of Burrard and Robson).

This demo will occur rain or shine. Signs and leaflets will be provided, just bring yourself and anyone else you think would like to attend.

In the meantime, express some our your fur-outrage with a pen! Please write to Bebe and tell them to stop supporting the cruel fur industry:
