AAS asked Judy Lopes if she has rehabilitation skills and where she would best be able to assist a new family with Nellie and got this very caring response:

I am willing to do what I can. I have a fair bit of knowledge that I can pass on to whom ever gets Nellie. It is all self taught knowledge from a few books I have read and from 8 1/2 years of working with and walking dogs professionally.

I am willing and able to do what I can to help settle Nellie into her new home. My availability is somewhat limited however, as I am expecting for the first time. I am due in the beginning of February. In the mean time I would prefer not to travel beyond say Burnaby, Vancouver and the North Shore, and perhaps Richmond. This is new territory for me, so any advice you can pass on would be most appreciated. I do not know of any trainers personally, other than ones I have heard about over the years. If you can recommend me one or two that would be helpful too.
