Legislators are too busy with traffic etc

The legislators (municipal, provincial and/or federal) just do not understand or are too busy with the Olympics, traffic problems and other important "things" to legislate on behalf of real persons and animals in need. The response to this issue, posted by AAS, is the most logical, reasonable and, therefore, compassionate that I have read in a long, long while.
