Many pets died in the Surrey apartment fire on December 27, 2006.

It was a blessing that Gatto was found on January 6, 2007, but it was truly a miracle that Tobi survived and was found in the building one month after the fire. While the ceilings collapsed onto each other, these cats withstood terror and loneliness until they could be saved.

So many others perished.

A celebration of their lives, and the joy they brought to their caregivers, will be held on February 11, 2007 at the Newton Seniors' Centre, 13775 - 70 Avenue, Surrey BC. 2:30-3:30 pm
