Salaries of SPCA brass is shocking

How shocked and disappointed I was when I took the advice of Pat and Richard Hugh and discovered the exorbitant salaries being paid to the SPCA head management and staff - as listed on their website.

I thought, as most of the public must, that since the individual shelters are staffed with many volunteers, and that as their newsletters are constantly filled with request for donations and food and equipment and blankets, that the funds we donate are in very short supply.

When the top CEO takes from $100,300 up to $135,700 per year, and the next 11 senior management staff receive between $89,250 to $120,750 each, I am afraid that the donations from my meagre pension are not going to the animals at all, but for the welfare of top officials in office.
