Here's an exciting update for our fellow animal lovers! Stop Animal Cruelty
Petition supporting Bill C-373 has been prepared by the Clerk's Office and is
ready for submission! (No word on final # yet, was 111,000+ guess it's a
surprise!?) MP Myron Thompson will be presenting it to the House of Commons
with a statement, on Mon. Feb 19, after 3 PM (EST)! Watch on cpac or a
statement will also appear in "Hansard", the official record of debates.
From there it goes to the Gov't, which has 45 days to table a response.
Everyone cross your fingers, write last minute emails, pray, and hope that
we'll finally have a resolution to this century old debate!
