PETA recently sent an investigator into Mepkin Abbey, the famous Trappist monastery in South Carolina. The monastery runs a farm which produces eggs which are widely sold in South Carolina. The results of this investigation were predictably appalling, although one would expect better from monks.

I wish that PETA would concentrate on exposing animal cruelty rather that killing domestic animals whenever they see fit.
