A resident of a Whitehorse native subdivision was charged with dragging a dog along a road in Whitehorse. He will appear in court in April. There is a lot of animal cruelty that happens in the Yukon, and the perpetrators usually get off 'scott free.' I will post a message in the near future about animal abuse/neglect cases.
