The International Day of Action Against the Seal Hunt – March 15th 2007

From the East Coast to the West Coast, Canadians are protesting the seal
hunt which takes place every spring off our Atlantic coast. The world’s
largest marine mammal slaughter is cruel and unnecessary and must be stopped
now.

Kelowna Demonstration
Date: March 15th
Time: 11 am
Location: MP Ron Cannan's office, Capri Mall, 114-1835 Gordon Drive
NOTE: PLEASE DRESS IN BLACK! Seal hunt flyers will be handed out to passerby
on Gordon Drive . Families with children are encouraged to come with
homemade cards containing requests that the seal slaughter be stopped. The
cards and flyers will be left with Mr. Cannan's office.

Vancouver Funeral Procession for Seals
Date: March 15th
Time: 11:45 am - 2:00 pm
Location: Meet at the Art Gallery (750 Hornby Street) at 11:45 am.
A funeral procession for the seals will begin at noon and end up in front of
the DFO building (401 Burrard Street) at 12:30 pm.
