The Vancouver Art Gallery is openning a show on April 5th of Huang Yong Ping's work. One piece entitled "Theatre of the World" features LIVE insects, lizards, snakes, scorpions together in a small space left to duke it out. I was tipped off by a friend who works at the gallery. I can't believe this! I was wondering if any protests are organized?! I've written a letter to the curator of the VAG in protest... I need to find support- please contact me if you have any info on groups who are planning to protest this horrible misuse of art!
