I now feel that my donations to the BC SPCA were made under a misunderstanding

Your new site is a true inspiration. This is the premise that we all must make our priority in life, if we are to be committed animal activists.

The San Francisco model seems to have covered most of the issues, and thus is a perfect role model for the rest of us. Surely the BC SPCA cannot dispute or deny that a no kill program is the ultimate definition of 'Prevention of Cruelty'. What remains to be seen is if they will get on board with this new concept.

I now feel that my donations to the BC SPCA were made with a misunderstanding. Their own literature led many of us to believe that SPCA did not kill any animal except for the true euthanasia. Now we know that they kill animals that are sick with easily treatable diseases such as colds in cats and ringworm in dogs.
