There's a bounty of $10 US on Kosovo's stray dogs after a string of attacks on humans by
packs wandering the streets of major cities like those above in the capital of Pristina.
Gunmen are paid per tail of the dogs they hunt down.
The action has raised the anger of longtime animal rights activist and former French movie
star Brigitte Bardot.
Many strays are pets abandoned during and since the 1998 -99 war.
