Hi Everyone,

Shawn Fulford of Newfoundland sent this incredible image to me of what is left of one of the sealing ships off th coast of Newfoundland.

What an incredible photo. When I see it all I can think of is all the seal pups that this vessel will not be killing anymore.

Crushed and swallowed by the ice and sea. YESSSSSSSS.

And apparently there were some 25 vessels damaged and lost or written off. Insurance premiums will go through the roof for next year and sealing has become a much costlier enterprise.

Thank-you Sean for making my day. It feels like Christmas, and this is a gift to be treasured.
