The fact that Air Canada cooperates in transporting dogs for medical research in France IS disgusting indeed, so I will not fly with that airline again.

BUT, even if the passengers on that particular flight were emotionally upset and distressed, I barely feel sorry for most of them. Because we all should know by now that all sorts of animals are still being used for vivisection; because we all should know that animals are still treated with inhumane cruelty; and we all know that most people still look at little calves, lambs, piglets, foals etc. and go 'aaaaah' and 'oooooh' , then go home and eat steak, veal, lambchops and so on.

However sad this incident was, it is much sadder that the majority of these passengers just go home and have a nice meat dinner for consolation, never giving a thought to the abattoirs where poor farm animals get murdered just to make people feel better.

People just care about their own feelings and hate to get upset by life's realities and that's why this sad incident may just have woken up a few of the poor upset meat-eaters - and fur-wearers for that matter...
