Second whale shark in tank dies

ATLANTA - Georgia Aquarium has lost its second whale shark in five months, when Norton, a seven-metre juvenile and one of the stars of Atlanta's super-sized aquarium, was euthanized Wednesday. He had been slowly spiralling to the bottom of his tank.

His death -- five months after his tank-mate, Ralph, met a similar fate -- has reignited a debate about whether aquariums should exhibit whale sharks.
