It is beyond comprehension. Almost half of those living next to us are still against banning the seal hunt. We really have not evolved very far from being savages, because only brainless savages can behave as sealers do and those who condone such.
It is possible the seals will go the same way as the buffalo did in the 1800 century. They were slaughterd by the millions and almost extinct for 2 to 3 dollars per pelt.
It is unthinkable that we still behave the same way.
