In Memory Chipper, the Hospital Dog

Chipper was a wonderful soul who was adopted by his Mom, Vivien,  about 5 years ago.
He was a rescued chained yard dog before he was introduced to Vivien. He worked at Burnaby Hospital
as a visiting dog. He visited hospitalized patients on palliative care and other wards and brought much comfort to them. Vivien and Chipper  would stop by the Physiotherapy Department at  least once a week so that we could have a "Chipper Break". We loved him to bits and loved to massage him in return for the wonderful work he did with our patients. We'll really miss him but he'll never be forgotten. What a wonderful spirit he had and how very blessed we were to have his visits.
