These dogs were assessed by the SPCA as unrehabitatable and (to the best of our knowledge, SPCA figures are confusing and misleading) 34 have been killed to date (March 30/03) (see letters from volunteers, click here -will be added)

Cheryl Perillo, ex-SPCA staffer who was let go after she objected to the euthanasias, with "Chewy" the Beaverdell dog she begged to adopt. He was killed too.
