THIS IS THE REAL SPCA
If you have always believed that people work at SPCA's out of love for animals and the material you read below baffles you, go to WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE SPCA, and
WHY DO WE CRITICIZE THE SPCA?. There are very serious things we have been told about SPCA staff that we are still investigating.  Keep in mind that official BC SPCA requires the killing of all feral cats, and allows an SPCA to be a for-profit pound contractor, which business almost certainly requires employees to kill animals.  For an example of how this policy, and the necessity of hiring people who will take a paycheque to kill animals, see Trigger-Happy SPCA and Nicholas Read on the SPCA
