SPCA considers running for-profit boarding

The BC SPCA Board of Directors is currently reviewing the issue of private boarding at SPCA shelters and would appreciate your feedback as it moves forward with its decision. We recognize that private boarding is considered an asset by some branches, by assisting in raising revenues and providing services to the community. However, the Board must weigh this against the need to have kennel space available to transfer animals from shelters in the Interior and the North, where serious overcrowding results in the euthanasia of healthy, adoptable animals. We appreciate your input as we develop a policy on this matter in the very near future.

SPCA considers running for-profit boarding
Logic is questioned
SPCA's Compassionate Board form
Board at $20 a day all that was offered
Where will they put these little money-makers?
The BC SPCA should be helping these animals before even considering For-Profit Boarding
The SPCA is telling us the they have lots of space to now house private boarders?
Women escaping violence were promised those spaces for their pets!
