It is not easy to stay off eggs. Many kinds of pastries for example include egg, as will certain other foods you buy. I see nothing wrong with eating eggs produced by hens, who run free in the field in green grass and sun and who are not fed artificial garbage obtained from Monsanto, or the likes.

I think the main thing for a vegetarian is not to eat anything from a living being that had to be killed to provide food for the human animal.

Now if you want to be realy picky, an egg is a living being as well, but that's where I draw the line.
