Animal Advocates Watchdog

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for having said that

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for having said that (The company's trade in live animals supports a mass-breeding industry just as cruel as — and less regulated than — the puppy mill industry)

That has helped to restore my faith as I have been trying to bring this forward in the rescue community for the past week (this following the killing of UVic buns for food debate)....and it seems to fall on deaf ears for many (not all).

For example PetCetera was seen as the *better alternative* of stores that sell animals....meaning they don't sell cats & dogs...so how is that a better alternative???

And that line of reasoning came from people in the animal rescue community....the ones you would think would get it the most. The ones who seem the suffering and exploitation. Some did, some do, but others still don't.

I wish I never saw those videos or pictures as I cannot get them out of my head but I knew I had to watch them.

Again THANK YOU.

When animals are used to make money, of course you can't trust the users not to abuse the animals
It's not just pet stores that sell pets. So too do many so-called shelters
AAS was told for many years of dogs that the SPCA sold to people who abused them cruelly by chaining them or keeping them in dark garages
Rescuers who rushed out to get deals at Petcetera
What we need is an Abraham Lincoln for animals
Suppliers more cruel than puppymills. Link to video *LINK*
