I suggest each one of us call Irene Towell, Clayoquat/Alberni SPCA and demand to know what has happened to Missy. Ask for her file number too. There is no reason for the SPCA to be secretive about file numbers.

She is going to shut down the first few callers wit the usual "We don't give out that information" but if she gets enough demands, she is going to realize there are many people concerned about the treatment of this dog and that we are not just going to go away silently. Ask her why they are hiding this dog. Ask her straight out if Missy still alive.

If each of us called once or twice a day for five days, she would get the message.

There is strength in numbers and when it comes to BC SPCA it seems pressure is the only way to get a response.

Be a nuisance, do it for Missy.
