I refer to the posting made by SOOTY on the 9th July, so this message is specifically for SOOTY and all those who agree with SOOTY.

I was disgusted and it sickened me to my stomach to hear you mention DB (former BC SCPA CEO Douglas Brimacombe) and Craig Daniell in the same sentence and worse of all insinuate that they are cut from the same cloth!

Have you ever met Craig? Have you ever had a conversation with him? Obviously from your comments you have not.

Until you know who Craig is do not judge him and worst of all put him in the same basket as DB.

Let me enlighten you a little. Craig is passionate about all animals! He does not just pretend to love them like so many others I know of.

Craig has made a difference for animals where ever he has gone whether fighting for the rights of Elephants in Africa to Marine life in all
our oceans and seas. (You did not know that about him did you.)

You can not tell me that you are not happy to have Craig working here in BC. You also can not tell me that in the seven months that he has
been working here he has not made a difference for animals.

You all say leave him in Cruelty because that is obviously what he is good at. True, he made a difference in Ontario and he will carry on making
a difference here in BC. But think if he could make the changes he did in Ontario and the difference he was starting to make here, yes just imagine what it would be like to have a true animal lover as the CEO. The SPCA is full of people who are passionate about animals, but when was the last time you had a true animal
lover in charge? Craig's love is for the animals and not the mighty dollar. How many of you know that he turned down a pay increase this last month?

In the last month that Craig has been acting CEO all he has been able to do is put out fires left behind by the previous administration. From what I can see he has an entire oil field on fire and after that he has to tred through the mine field
that was left behind.

So please do not judge the man until you have your facts straight.
