CAMP Colors Are For Killing! *LINK*

The story of Ashley, an orange zone dog who is being held at the Surrey SPCA is a perfect example of how CAMP fails to protect and accurately evaluate an animal.

This is a partial quote from an e-mail sent to me this morning, "When she got turned in she had colitis so bad blood was running out of her. During that time she was really sick and that is when they did the assessment. She curled her lip during the assessment because she was so ill"

Ashley is now labelled an orange zone dog because she was assessed when she was ill. How many others have been labelled with the same color and are no longer living?

It also seems that once labelled an Orange Zone dog they will always remain in Orange Zone.

I have to ask, where the hell are the SPCA's boasted "remediation prorgams" that are supposed ot be a part of CAMP? Where is rehabilitation, fostering and socialization? Where is the compassion?
