The greatest of all the lies that protects the pet disposal business

AAS can't respect anyone with the face to call a place that kills the innocent a "shelter". It's a warning flag in our opinion, that the speaker is capable of perverting logic to hide something that they know, at some level, even if buried, is wrong. It is the greatest of the great lies that hides what the pet disposers do.

Even we can see that some dogs cannot be recovered without putting the public at too great risk. But we think that no one who does this for a living should be anything except honest about the job. We've been saying for a long time - only the truth will set them free. Every perversion of the truth, no matter how little (and calling a place that kills the inhabitants a shelter is no little lie) obscures what the real problem is and so there can never be a real solution - which is exactly what the pet shuffling/disposal agencies want - no real solution or they would all be out of jobs.

A pound by any other name is not a shelter
Does anyone care?
How true and how sad that is.
The Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act legally requires the SPCA to relieve the distress of an animal in distress and that includes stray dogs hit by cars
It's interesting that these two, a pound contractor and an SPCA, are squabbling. *LINK*
Nanaimo Pound employee justifies killing surrendered pets
Real animal lovers wouldn't put those shoes on, much less walk a dog to its death in them
Is the Nanaimo SPCA practicing limited surrender?
Limiting surrender at the Richmond Virginia SPCA. What part of this does the BC SPCA not understand? *LINK*
