FROZEN DOGS: An innocent dog is dead and true justice won’t prevail

My first reaction on hearing about the poor Dalmation found frozen to death was a stunned disbelief, so sickened was I by the horror of what this dog endured. Chained for at least 10 years, robbed of dignity, and the freedom and joys life holds, it died alone, a miserable and harsh existence finally terminated. The extent of human cruelty inflicted upon those dependent upon us knows no bounds. Why this continued with no intervention is beyond comprehension. The SPCA was aware of the situation, yet time progressed, and the misery prolonged without appropriate measures being taken. Now it’s become just another possible case of neglect or cruelty. Whatever action transpires, if any, the result is the same, an innocent dog is dead and true justice won’t prevail.
However, we have the power to pull together and make 2004 a better year for all.
