I remember the Maple Ridge SPCA. When my brother's dog went missing we checked all of the SPCA's in the lower mainland. When we got to Maple Ridge I found the conditions especially terrible. The dogs were howling and were lying in urine and feces. At the front desk there were several SPCA workers (using that word loosely) standing around gossiping and drinking coffee. They couldn't have cared less when I mentioned the conditions to them. They even laughed.
