“Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely.”

As with any organization that has no checks and balances, or has little or no accountability to the public, the greater the potential for abuse. When cracks begin to appear in the veneer and those attempting to bring the issues to the public are either ignored, brushed off, or dismissed as crackpots or troublemakers, those wielding the power believe they are invincible. They become more reckless in their maneuvers and continue their reign of domination, still unchecked. However, as the cracks spread and the problems within are gradually becoming more apparent, it’s time for damage control. But it’s too late, the public knows a whitewash, and is now demanding more. They want change, a better system, one more honest and accountable. Is it too late for the SPCA? We’ll see, but its obvious the animals have been let down by this society, and we have a perfect example of “Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely.”

Euthanizing the SPCA is compassionate thing to do
The only hope left is for the President and the CEO to be replaced by people who are more principled
“Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely.”
The CEO speaks for himself and proves our concerns that he is not the right person to lead the SPCA
Will the Sun print this bizarre letter from the CEO? The plot sickens.....
Craig Daniell should research his story before making it public!
