Re: The Coquitlam SPCA on Pipeline Rd is possibly the worst facility the BCSPCA has

Must agree whole-heartedly with Emma on this issue. I live in Port Coquitlam and of course pay the city, through my taxes, that supports this place of doom. I am always appalled, but never really surprised at the lack of knowledge on certain issues that the council of Port Coquitlam have. So, it is no wonderment to read of their intentions of sending the SPCA a letter, trying to force them to conduct an audit of their finances, when the real problem exists for the proper care of the unwanted animals that goes unheeded.

After all that has been said by both the media and AAS on the SPCA's abysmal record of policy and operations, it's hard to believe that the City Of PoCo haven't dumped the SPCA already. Coquitlam caught on when they actually did some thinking, and figured that the taxpayers money was being wasted on a society that were, and still are, padding their already bulging pockets, disregarding the welfare of the animals, the very reason why they are there.

It's time for the Council of PoCo to wake up and start doing what they were elected to do, and that's to stop wasting our money, and the first place they can start is by cancelling the contract with the SPCA, and then get off their backsides and start doing something positive and good for the animals that are in desperate need of it.
