Pitbull, Rottweiler owners rejoice! Wouldn't that be great if they did pass a bylaw you couldn't chain out your dog for hours on end? Then those of us responsible dog owners, myself a pit bull owner, wouldn't have to worry about all the bad breed press because there would be no more of our favorite dogs being mistreated by clueless people. Then they'd have to just go pay for alarm systems like the rest of us! Besides, the point of owning a dog first and foremost shouldn't be for protection. It's for companionship - take it from someone who has a Canine Good Citizen/Advanced obedience certified pit bull who wouldn't hurt a fly.
