Mr Brimacombe says he was let go without cause, and if that is not being fired, what is? He didn't quit, he was let go.

L.Lorie Chortyk, the BC SPCA's capable spinmistress, said several times that Brimacombe was not fired. But Ms Chortyk says a lot of things that turn out not to actually be true. She's good at that. She even got an award for it.

Chortyk said that the split was amicable. Nothing amicable ends up in court.
