Just wanted to point out that the dogs are not allowed to fight to the almost death and often death as pits are. Tosa's are prized possessions, not starved and beaten like pits or tossed in the trash as many pits are when they are done. They are not allowed to kill each other as pits are.

I do not and never have agreed with dog fighting just wanted to point out the difference for informational purposes only.

Having studied the Japanese breeds I have learned many interesting things about the culture and the amazing dogs they have. I just hope they don't become the next pit as they are amazing dogs.
