Greater Vancouver Zoo loses accreditation with association

ALDERGROVE (CKNW/AM980)-- Big problems for the Greater Vancouver Zoo in Aldergrove.

It's lost its accreditation with the Canadian Association of Zoos and Aquariums, which sets animal-care standards for zoos and aquariums.

Association president Bruce Dougen says the zoo is not providing adequate care, but he wouldn't go into details. He's also urging people to think twice about going to the zoo.
