The BC SPCA will be launching a kids club and kids magazine in October. The club will empower kids to become ambassadors for animals and animal welfare issues in their homes, their schools, and their community. Club materials and suggested activities will help kids learn about responsible animal care, enhance empathy skills, and develop respectful relationships between other people, animals, and nature. As the program evolves, opportunities to be involved in both local and provincial events will be communicated to club members through the BC SPCA Kids Club website - www.spca.bc.ca/kids and through special campaigns.
