AAS has uncovered,documented,and exposed years of BCSPCA spin-doctoring; at least several illegal animal seizures that break BC laws; instances of them altering their web site to hide previous untrue statements, and the list goes on. But they appear to be continually digging themselves into deeper trouble, and set on a course of self-destruction.
Their credibility (if they have any left) has been greatly compromised both in the eyes of the general public and in the media, and I have to wonder when and how this will all finally end? In a court room?
AAS has said from day one, that all they want is an honest, accountable, transparent BCSPCA that is focused on true animal welfare. What part of this equation doesn't the SPCA understand? Why does their CEO continually make poor decisions that only make things worse for them? And why does their Board of Directors allow him to?
The way things are headed, there won't be a BCSPCA left to reform.
